We’re about to enter one of the most horrendous seasons of the year—political elections. It’s painful and certainly disgusting to witness the barrage of negativity over the airwaves and in our environment. We almost stop being human and become instead a Republican, a Democrat, A Tea Party member, a pro-lifer, a liberal, black, white, Hispanic, conservative, gay—the factions seemingly endless.
We argue, fight, humiliate, attack, and sometimes even kill to prove that our viewpoint is the correct or most righteous one. In almost every organization, including those involving religion and education, everybody has a label, a trademark, or signature—just barely more sophisticated than “gangs.”
